About Creative Needlecraft

Carolyn has always had a passion for creative pursuits and started Creative Needlecraft to showcase some of her unique designs. Soon after starting some of her sewing friends asked if she would make patterns for them so that they too could sew purses. From there her business has expanded. An accomplished businesswoman with formal training and a career in the apparel industry Carolyn is excited about this new venture.

With a talent and eye for color co-ordination Carolyn designs with quality fabrics and accessories. This is especially evident in the choice of embroidery and trim on her purses. Fabrics that range from faux suede to cotton, wool, velvet, linen and silk are combined in unusual ways to create her one-of-a-kind creations.

Carolyn has designed and made everything from the basics to heirloom quality Christening robes in fine cotton, silks and Irish linen. In demand for custom bridal wear, she has the talent and ability to design and create the gown of your dreams.

Her creations have been featured in 'Teen Prom' and 'Stitches' magazines and several have won national awards.

With the launch of a new line of sewing patterns Carolyn has also expanded her talents into teaching and sharing her designs and techniques. Please contact us if you would be interested in Carolyn teaching at your store, conference or show.
